Steve A. Baker, Esq.

Steve A. Baker is a Senior Associate and Roanoke native. He graduated with honors from Roanoke College with a degree in Business Administration, along with a minor in French and a concentration in Marketing. He earned his Juris Doctorate from George Mason University School of Law in 2005. Steve began his legal career working in insurance defense and personal injury law, which led him to establish the Baker Law Firm in 2011. Since 2016, he has also contributed to Roanoke College as a Lecturer and Director of the Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurial Innovation. Steve specializes in personal injury cases, excelling in negotiation and compromise. His legal experience includes trying cases involving slip and fall, traffic accidents, and constitutional issues, with successful appeals in the VA Court of Appeals. Actively involved in the community, Steve has served on the Mill Mountain Zoo Board and participates in the Salem Rotary. He mentors through the Gauntlet Business Program and supports local charities, emphasizing service and leadership. Steve lives in Roanoke with his family and enjoys sports, outdoor activities, and supporting the Mill Mountain Zoo.
