Biography

Steve commands an excellent working knowledge of the legal culture. While working full time as a lawyer he earned his MBA at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and laid a solid foundation for counseling business clients on operations management, finance and strategy. Steve’s passion for learning is also reflected in his commitment to continuing education in his areas of legal concentration and the enjoyment he derives from teaching and mentoring others. He is highly regarded for his due diligence, client-centered approach and business acumen.


Adept at handling complex litigation, Steve’s arguments have been incorporated into the rulings and opinions of state and federal judges. A seasoned legal advocate, his approach to representation provides his clients with peace of mind, enabling them to focus on pressing business issues. Steve has published numerous articles on shipping and trade law, and gives lectures on business issues of concern to importers, exporters, transport companies and the shipping public.
