Biography

Steven’s practice focuses on representing injured workers in claims before the Industrial Commission. He spent the first part of his career representing employers, before deciding to join Martin & Jones in 2015 out of a desire to help hard-working men and women who have suffered life-changing injuries.

Steven graduated from Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, he was recognized for earning the highest grade in both Workers’ Compensation and Sales (UCC Article 2), which included study of North Carolina product liability law.

Prior to law school, Steven attended Lenoir-Rhyne University, earning an undergraduate degree in Political Science. During his time at Lenoir-Rhyne, he was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha (the National Political Science Honors Society) and the Deans’ List. Steven also spent a semester in Washington, D.C., where he interned in the office of Congressman David Price.

Steven is a Raleigh native. Outside of the office, he enjoys basketball, cooking, and watching the Demon Deacons.
