Biography

Steven D. Smith has been with the firm since 1993, and is Head of the Trusts and Estates Department. Mr. Smith concentrates his practice on matters involving Probate and Real Estate.

Mr. Smith received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Richmond in 1988, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1992.

For many years, Mr. Smith co-chaired the Probate and Estates Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association, and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has also served on various local Boards and community organizations.

Born in New Haven, raised in Norwalk and Wilton, Steve remains active in the local community, golfing at Oak Hills Park and playing softball in the Norwalk Recreation League. Together with his wife Beth, who is a high school history teacher, and their son, Chad and English Bulldog, Lucy Lu.
