Biography

Steven L. Ettinger is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and Co-Chair of the Health Law Business Group . He helps lead case strategy and briefing efforts in complex litigation and appellate matters on behalf healthcare clients and has successfully briefed dispositive motions, appellate matters, and discovery issues in state and federal courts. Mr. Ettinger has managed appeals up to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He also advises clients on internal hospital policies, privilege concerns, patient safety, HIPAA matters, and mandatory reporting obligations.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ettinger practiced with a local firm in Pittsburgh. During law school, he served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mr. Ettinger was a research assistant for Professor Hosea H. Harvey at Temple’s School of Law.
