My mission is simple: I help you protect your family and preserve your assets. I focus on estate planning and business planning. I also help people deal with the probate process in Connecticut, if a loved one has passed away. Some people think estate planning is only for the very wealthy.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  If you have a home or if you have children, you should have an estate plan, even if it is a simple will, Power of Attorney, and Health Care Directives.   Connecticut probate is supposed to be user friendly, but it has become more complicated.  If you need help after a love one has died, I can help.  Did you know that even if all of your loved ones assets pass outside of probate, you still need to file a non-taxable estate tax return (CT706NT).  Without it, if you or your children want to sell the house, you will have a title issue.  That's why it's important to consult with a lawyer about probate in Connecticut.
