Biography

Steven Welch joined Mastagni Holstedt A.P.C. as an associate in the Labor Department. He represents public safety employees in administrative and disciplinary investigations, hearings, and critical incident investigations.

Steven began his legal career with the Kern County District Attorney’s Office. Steven prosecuted cases in the misdemeanor, juvenile, preliminary hearing, Rural Crime Prevention Task Force, general felony, and branch court departments. Steven prosecuted 24 felony jury trials to verdict, including numerous felony arson trials. Prior to joining the firm, he represented public safety employees throughout Southern California.
