Steve is one of those guys you like to see walk through your door, and he's heck of a criminal defense lawyer to boot. He is one of the most charismatic members of the SD Bar and uses that to full advantage for his clients' benefit. And while on the surface he appears to be an easy-going folksy attorney who is quick with a joke, don't be fooled: he has a passion for fair treatment under the law and has no tolerance when he perceives an abuse of power.
