Stevin James Groth

Stevin J. Groth, originally from Davis, California, established Groth and Associates in 2001. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Lucas County (Ohio) Prosecutor, handling felony criminal and civil matters for the Lucas County Commissioners and their Agencies. After that experience, he was a founding partner with a mid-sized general practice law firm in Toledo.

He is licensed in Ohio, and in the Northern and Southern United States District Courts of Ohio, as well as the Southern District of Michigan. He has successfully handled complex matters in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and California.

Stevin is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Ohio Academy of Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Lucas County Bar, the Wood County Bar, the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and many other community related organizations.

Significant matters include jury trials for murder and virtually every first degree felony throughout Ohio, as well as civil litigation resulting in millions obtained for his clients. He is very comfortable in front of a jury.
