Biography

Stuart Altschuler is of counsel to Getnick Law. He specializes in complex litigation and business counseling. He began his legal practice at Cahill Gordon & Reindel in New York, then moved to Chicago and was a partner successively at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal and Winston & Strawn. In 2011 Mr. Altschuler returned to New York and joined Getnick Law.

In Mr. Altschuler’s over 40 years of litigation experience he has represented large and small businesses and individuals in the areas of antitrust, securities, product liability, and general commercial law. He is a member of the New York and Illinois bars. He has litigated cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, numerous federal courts of appeals and district courts, and various state courts. He is a member of the American, New York State, and New York City Bar Associations.
