Sully Bryan, the Managing Attorney at the Fresno Office of Wilner &
O’Reilly, brings a wealth of experience to her role, holding
admission to the Iowa State Bar. Intensely focused on family-based
immigration, U-Visas, 601 Waivers, VAWA, and removal defense, Ms.
Bryan, born and raised in Southern California, is the proud daughter
of immigrants and the first in her family to attend college. Whittier
College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in
Religious Studies.
During her
undergraduate years, Ms. Bryan dedicated herself to mentoring
minority students in their pursuit of higher education, extending her
commitment to at-risk youth as a mentor for the Cal State Young
Marines. Transitioning to Utah, she continued her public service by
joining Ameri-Corp, serving as the Latin American Outreach
Coordinator for United Way of Utah County.
Ms. Bryan earned
her Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law
School, where she actively participated in various capacities.
Serving on the boards of Moot Court, The Minority Law Students
Association, Student Bar Association, and the Latin American Law
Student Association, she also engaged in the Immigration Law Forum
and Women in the Law. Her commitment extended to mentoring incoming
first-year students, and in 2014, she received the Cora Snow Carleton
Award, recognizing her outstanding contributions.
Before joining
Wilner & O’Reilly, Ms. Bryan served as a law clerk for the
Executive Office for Immigration Review, contributing to research on
immigration issues, drafting bench memoranda, and preparing judicial
opinions for removal proceedings. Her legal journey also included
clerkships for the Utah County Prosecutors Office and the City of
Provo, where she handled both criminal and civil cases.
In acknowledgment
of her achievements, Ms. Bryan has received the Cora Snow Carleton
Award from 2014 to the present. Her past employment positions include
a law clerk role at the Utah County Prosecutors Office in 2015 and at
the Provo City Attorneys Office from 2014 to 2015.
Ms. Bryan's
professional trajectory initially led her to the Utah Offices of
Wilner & O’Reilly before relocating to Fresno, California,
where she currently resides with her family and two
dogs.Additionally, Ms. Bryan is associated with the fraternity Phi
Alpha Theta.
