Summer Kanstoroom

During law school, Ms. Kanstoroom clerked for the Honorable Judge Susanne Wilson Bullard of the 8th Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she gained valuable experience handling civil matters in family law, probate, juvenile, and domestic violence cases, developing a solid foundation in civil litigation.

Ms. Kanstoroom also clerked for In-House Counsel at F. Schumacher & Co. in Manhattan, where she focused on intellectual property management and compliance. She filed copyright registrations with the U.S. Copyright Office and supported the company’s employment, labor, and real estate functions. Working closely with multiple departments, Ms. Kanstoroom contributed to the company’s intellectual property strategy and helped ensure regulatory compliance.

In addition, Ms. Kanstoroom is a certified Florida County Court Mediator and was a member of the Florida Mediation Clinic, where she received hands-on mediation training and experience. Working as a co-mediator in small claims disputes-ranging from landlord-tenant issues to insurance claims-she demonstrated a commitment to effective conflict resolution.
