Sunny’s extensive experience serving both domestic and foreign companies enables her to accurately understand clients’ needs and provide practical advice and solutions.
Through her work with both domestic and MNCs in the TMT sector, she has become one of the more experienced Chinese legal practitioners in the field of cybersecurity, data compliance, and AI-related practices. She regularly provides legal advice on various aspects of Chinese cybersecurity and data protection laws and frequently participates in research on data regulation in the EU, US, and SEA, and also advises Chinese companies on data compliance in overseas projects through working with overseas law firms. Sunny acts as an adjunct professor for the Digital Economy Course of Fudan University, covering the privacy and data protection laws in the EU and US.

Working Experience
Sunny Shen started her private practice in King & Wood with a focus on PE/VC financing and overseas listings. Since 2009, as the legal head of Sohu Changyou, a top Chinese gaming company, Sunny successfully led multiple M&As, overseas expansion, IP infringement litigation and crisis management cases. Starting from 2011, Sunny joined the globally renowned gaming and digital entertainment giant, Electronic Arts (EA), to head a team in charge of legal matters in the territories of Greater China. Sunny joined AnJie Broad Shanghai Office in January 2019.
