Biography

Susan joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP in 1989 and is Of Counsel with the Firm. She practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, estate litigation, and real estate.

Susan is a past President of the Broome County Bar Association (2006 - 2007) and a past member of the Broome County Judicial Candidate Committee. She is a former Chair of the Professional Liability Section of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Susan is a member of the Broome County, Tioga County, Susquehanna County, and New York State Bar Associations. She is a past Vice President of the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of Broome/ Tioga Counties, having served on the Board for ten years. Susan is also a member of the Owego Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. She is a past Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Friends of Salt Springs Park, Inc., having served on the Board for six years.
