Suzanne Elizabeth Peters

Ms. Peters represents management in employment litigation in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights, and New York City Commission on Human Rights. She has defended cases involving claims of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful discharge. In addition, Ms. Peters has significant experience in prosecuting and defending litigated complex commercial matters involving breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, tortious interference with contract, unfair competition, and misappropriation of trade secrets and confidential information.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Peters worked for a general practice law firm in New Jersey where she gained significant experience defending clients in employment-related litigation in federal and state court. Ms. Peters also interned at the Commonwealth Attorney's Office for Rockbridge County, Virginia, where she prosecuted misdemeanor crimes for a year.

While attending law school, she won the John W. Davis Appellate Advocacy competition and later served as the administrator of the competition. She also was a member of the Moot Court Executive Board.
