Sydney Austin Soder

Ms. Soder practices in the areas of asset protection, estate planning, probate, estate & gift taxation, business and commercial law, complex civil litigation, guardianship, and trust and estate litigation, representing clients at both the state and federal levels.

Ms. Soder joined Marquis Aurbach as a Law Clerk in 2023, working on a full spectrum of both transactional and litigation matters. She earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2025.

Prior to entering law school, Ms. Soder worked as the Managing Paralegal of a local law firm specializing in civil litigation, business law, estate planning, and probate, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of legal matters. While in law school, Ms. Soder served as a research assistant, as the Treasurer and President of the Organization of Psychology and Law, as well as the Events Director for the Organization of Women Law Students. In addition to being named on the Dean’s Honor List, Ms. Soder received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in the subjects of Professional Responsibility, Disability Law, and Resort and Casino Law.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Soder enjoys exploring the mountains with her Aussie pup, Bandit, cooking and traveling with family and friends, and giving back to her local community. Although a lifelong Vegas native, she can be found cheering on the Eagles - Geaux Birds – along with the Rebs and the Aces. Ms. Soder regularly volunteers for local causes and is a passionate advocate for local youth outreach programs.
