Sydney L. Macca, Esq.

Sydney Macca devotes her practice to corporate aircraft transactions, representing clients in the acquisition, leasing, financing, and registration of business and personal aircraft of all sizes, Part 91 and Part 135 ownership structures, regulatory compliance issues, and sales and use tax planning. Sydney also represents corporations in FAA and DOT regulatory matters including enforcement proceedings for hazardous material violations as well as violations of Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prior to attending law school, Sydney served as Manager of Flight Operations and Security Officer for a Part 91 flight department operating a Gulfstream G450 with operations in over 100 countries. During her tenure as Manager of Flight Operations, she was responsible for the flight department’s Emergency Response Plan and management, worked extensively with the corporation’s Risk Management, HR, and Business Continuity departments, and was appointed to the Corporate Pandemic Planning and Corporate Crisis Management Teams. Sydney was also a member of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Security Council and a member of Gulfstream’s Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and Advanced Technology Customer Advisory Team (ATCAT) for the Gulfstream 650.

Sydney is a licensed pilot with experience in both fixed wing and rotary aircraft and a member of the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association (LPBA).
