Biography

Sydney M. Schubert is an Associate at DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole & Giblin, LLP, where she is a member of the Firm’s Public Entity and Labor & Employment Practice Groups.

At her prior firm, Sydney’s practice focused on labor law, employment counseling, and liquor licensing. She provided valuable counsel concerning labor negotiations, arbitrations, non-compete agreements, and human resources matters. Sydney also gained experience in liquor licensing and offering comprehensive legal support to her clients. She has contributed to numerous articles, publications, and presentations in her area of expertise, educating clients and colleagues on a wide range of legal issues. During law school, Sydney served as a legal intern at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Office of the Principal Legal Advisor.

Ms. Schubert graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2022, with a formal concentration in Health Law. She was sworn into the New Jersey Bar in November 2022, subsequently being sworn into the bar for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Colorado – Boulder, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy.
