Biography

Sydney Parks is an associate in the Litigation Practice in Greenberg Traurig’s New York office. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, with particular emphasis on product liability and medical device litigation, white collar and financial crime matters, and financial regulatory and compliance.

Sydney represents clients in complex commercial disputes in both federal and state courts, including matters involving government enforcement proceedings and internal investigations. She also advises clients on regulatory and compliance matters relating to Securities and Exchange Commission regulations and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority rules, and has assisted in representing broker-dealers and their associated persons in regulatory examinations and enforcement proceedings before the SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory authorities.

Sydney also maintains an active pro bono practice. During law school, she served as a fellow with the Rethinking Justice program through Brooklyn Law School’s Center for Criminal Justice, where she worked closely with formerly incarcerated women impacted by the criminal legal system. In that role, she collaborated with students and partners to develop teaching materials grounded in the lived experiences of justice-impacted individuals

Sydney is a member of the Liaison Committee of Greenberg Traurig’s African Diaspora Inclusion Network (GAIN), an affinity group that is open to all attorneys and dedicated to fostering connections, building relationships, and advancing professional growth through networking and mentorship.
