T. Charles Blaska: Attorney with Blaska Holm LLC

Biography

Charles is a founding partner of the Blaska Holm law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an accomplished trial and appellate attorney that has served as lead counsel in hundreds of personal injury actions in both state and federal courts. He has deep experience with cases dealing with vehicular collisions, premises liability matters, professional malpractice, governmental negligence, and products liability.

Charles’s ability to effectively see, think, and execute in reverse arms clients with appropriate expectations and leverage to successfully navigate the litigation process. Charles’s partnership with Jeff and Katie allows for their collective, substantive expertise and mastery of procedure to better serve clients’ litigation needs in matters common to all—business matters, personal and financial wellbeing, and succession planning.

Years of Experience

Charles has practiced law for fifteen years. Upon graduation and bar passage, Charles immediately began trying cases with his father and accomplished trial lawyer, Tom Blaska. Shortly thereafter, Charles’s legal mentor and accomplished appellate lawyer, Dana Norman, joined the firm.

Through working with Tom and Dana, Charles possesses the training and expertise necessary to plan, organize, and execute an action through trial while spotting and preserving appellate issues—all from a client’s initial retention of the firm. This ability to handle a case from inception to appeals sets the Blaska Holm law firm apart from most other firms.

Several of Charles’s successful appeals of issues of first impression remain authoritative and cited by Georgia treatise (see Duff v. Bd. of Regents of Univ. Sys. of Georgia, 341 Ga. App. 458, 800 S.E.2d 640 (2017) and Stelly v. WSE Prop. Mgmt., LLC, 350 Ga. App. 627, 829 S.E.2d 871 (2019)).

Early Years

An Atlanta native, Charles graduated from Marist School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Georgia. Charles attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and earned his Juris Doctor in 2009.

Outside of Work

Charles teaches law at Kennesaw State University in the College of Continuing and Professional Education. As a second-generation lawyer, he believes in advancing the legal profession by zealously advocating for his clients with honesty, integrity, and ingenuity.

When Charles isn’t practicing or teaching law, he enjoys adventure-seeking, golfing, coaching, and cooking with his wife and two children. Further, Charles hangs on each of his favorite teams’ pitches and snaps—his hometown Braves, alma mater Georgia Dawgs, and Green Bay Packers.
