Biography

Tara J. Flanagan concentrates her practice on complex commercial real estate finance transactions. She represents lending institutions in the origination and modification of bridge loans, construction loans and permanent loans across various asset classes - including multifamily, mixed-use, retail, hotel, hospitality and office properties. Tara also advises clients on the sale and securitization of loans, as well as the structuring of preferred equity transactions and fee and leasehold financings.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Tara was a director at a debt fund. As in-house counsel, she worked closely with originators, underwriters, closers, as well as the operations and capital markets teams, to facilitate the origination of bridge and mezzanine loans, the securitization of mortgage loans, and other capital markets transactions.
