A Maryland native, I earned my bachelor’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and my Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating with honors. After beginning my career at a mid-size Baltimore firm representing defendants and insurance companies in automobile accident and workers’ compensation matters, I chose to return to my roots in Anne Arundel County and to focus on serving the more personal needs of my local community. By working alongside my father, doing the work that he loved, I was able to learn and now continue that family tradition as a trusted resource for our community.
For the first decade, I practiced as a generalist attorney, handling a wide range of matters including family law, bankruptcy, adoptions, guardianships, criminal defense, DWI, and traffic cases. This broad experience provided me with deep insight into clients’ personal circumstances, family dynamics, and the complex factors that influence their legal needs—skills that continue to inform my work today.
I now focus on helping individuals and families in Anne Arundel County and the surrounding region develop comprehensive estate plans that protect their assets, provide for their loved ones, and ensure their wishes are carried out with clarity and care. The legal areas of estate planning and elder law are deeply rewarding to me. I am proud to serve as a trusted advisor and to build lasting, multi-generational relationships with clients. I serve not only as their attorney for today’s needs, but as a trusted legal guide for their families in the future—offering peace of mind during life’s most important transitions and times of crisis.
In recent years, I have expanded the firm and now have locations across central Maryland. In 2003, we opened an office on Kent Island in Stevensville, Maryland, to assist clients throughout Queen Anne’s, Kent, Caroline, and Talbot Counties. In 2019, we expanded with a second location in Annapolis, allowing us to more effectively serve the greater Annapolis area. In 2023, we opened an office in Frederick and relocated that office to a more central location in Mount Airy in 2025.
I am proud to carry on a family tradition of trusted legal service spanning more than 70 years. Many of our clients include multiple generations—former clients of my father, along with their children and grandchildren—who continue to turn to us for thoughtful, experienced guidance in estate planning, elder law, probate and related matters.
