Tara M. Gore

Tara Gore brings a dynamic perspective to William C. Gore, Jr. PLLC as the newest member of the team. Focusing on criminal defense and traffic law across Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, and Robeson Counties, Tara passionately advocates for her clients. With a deep-rooted connection to her community as a lifelong resident of Whiteville, she is dedicated to assisting her neighbors through legal challenges.

With seven years of postsecondary education at Chapel Hill under her belt, Tara's skills are further enhanced by her experience as a Deputy Clerk of Superior Court in Columbus County. This role provided her invaluable insights into the intricacies of criminal court proceedings, bolstering her effectiveness in the courtroom.

During her tenure at UNC School of Law, Tara sharpened her client-relations skills through the Immigration Clinic, where she assisted indigent clients. Since being admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2017, she has been unwavering in her commitment to uphold her oath to "be faithful and bear true allegiance to the State of North Carolina."

Tara is an active member of various professional and bar associations, including the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, American Bar Association, Columbus County Bar Association, and the 13th Judicial District of North Carolina Bar Association.
