Biography

Taylor Eagan is an Associate at Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, where she defends the Firm’s client doctors, hospitals, health care systems, and other medical professionals in a variety of medical malpractice matters.

Prior to joining MCB, Taylor was an associate attorney at a mid-sized, multi-specialty law firm in Westchester. There, she managed a significant caseload of medical malpractice litigation in both New York State and federal courts. Specific responsibilities included conducting legal research and discovery; taking and defending depositions; drafting motions; and representing clients in court proceedings and mediations. In addition to her focus on medical malpractice, Taylor gained experience in both commercial and insurance coverage litigation. Outside of her case work, Taylor supervised and managed junior associates and various support staff at the firm.

Earlier in her career, Taylor served as an attorney at the New York area offices of two other firms with a focus on insurance coverage law and insurance defense. In those environments, she interacted with clients and opposing counsel; drafted various legal documents; conducted and defended depositions; and appeared in court for conferences and motion arguments.

Taylor received her B.A. from Fordham University in 2015, and earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2018. She is admitted to practice in New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
