Biography

Taylor H. Scheiner is a Partner in the firm's Miami office. Mr. Scheiner is a Board Certified Specialist in Construction Law and devotes his practice to a broad array of construction-related matters, representing developers, contractors, and subcontractors in construction defect, delay, products, contract, worker's compensation, and class action claims. Mr. Scheiner also represents design professionals in professional liability claims and businesses in large-scale civil and commercial litigation.

Mr. Scheiner received his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, cum laude, where he made the Dean's List five semesters and graduated in the top 20th percent of his class. While attending law school, Mr. Scheiner was the Law Clerk for a prominent insurance company's In-House Counsel, a teaching assistant for legal writing and appellate advocacy courses, and was the research assistant to the Dean of the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law.

Mr. Scheiner is an Associate fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America and a member of the Trial Law Institute and Diversity Law Institute, an inivitation-only construction lawyer honorary society with membership limited to 1,200 practicing Fellows from the United States and internationally. Mr. Scheiner has been recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2021-2025 in the practice areas of Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation - Construction. Mr. Scheiner also has been recognized as a 2023 and 2024 Rising Star, with an emphasis in Construction Litigation, by the Florida Super Lawyers Magazine , an honor received by only 2.5% of attorneys in Florida.
