Biography

Taylor Rose Hansford is an Associate in the firm's Jacksonville office. She is a member of the general liability and first party property practice group defending a broad range of insurance defense cases. Originally from Nebraska, Mrs. Hansford earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a pre-law minor from Wayne State College. She then moved to Florida where she completed the two-year fast track program and earned a Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law.

Prior to joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Mrs. Hansford practiced in a variety of areas such as vehicle negligence, premises liability, first party property, and employment and labor cases. Mrs. Hansford has also worked for various state agencies including the Department of Corrections, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the Department of Financial Services, and the Agency for Healthcare Administration. At these state agencies, she handled a variety of areas including, inmate petitions involving gain-time, construction licensing, medical services reimbursement disputes, workers' compensation regulatory litigation, and Medicaid Managed Care.
