Biography

Temys M. Diaz is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office. Her legal experience for more than a decade has primarily been in nursing home and assisted living defense.

In the past, Ms. Diaz’s practice areas included, but were not limited to: wrongful death actions, personal injury, premises liability, medical malpractice, and PIP benefits. Moreover, she represented victims of domestic violence, not only in the legal system, but contributed to promoting domestic violence awareness by conducting lectures and participating in television and radio programs. In addition, Ms. Diaz litigated in the Dependency Court arena to protect children who had been abused, abandoned, or neglected.

Ms. Diaz earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Florida International University in 1992. She received a Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law in 1997.
