Terry L. Goddard Jr. serves as a senior associate at Skeen &
Kauffman, a distinguished law firm based in Baltimore, Maryland. As
the head of the firm's Bankruptcy Practice Group, Terry brings over a
decade of legal proficiency to the table, adeptly representing
clients across various legal domains. Since 2007, he has been a key
figure in assisting consumer and small business clients in navigating

Terry's legal
journey began with his graduation from The George Washington
University in 1998, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. He
went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from American University’s
Washington College of Law in 2002, actively participating in moot
court and contributing as an editorial member of the Journal of
Gender, Social Policy, and the Law. Following his academic pursuits,
Terry served as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable Andrew
Sonner, Associate Judge, Maryland Court of Special Appeals, further
enhancing his legal acumen.
Having ventured
into the realm of prosecution, Terry spent four years with the
Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Arizona after relocating with
his family. In 2005, he expanded his skill set by earning a Masters
in Business Administration from Arizona State University’s W.P.
Carey School of Business. Transitioning to private practice in 2007,
Terry offered his legal knowledge in criminal defense, general civil
litigation, and bankruptcy protection. In 2010, he returned to the
east coast, joining Skeen and Kauffman in November of the same year.
Admitted to the
practice of law in Maryland since 2002, Terry has cultivated a broad
knowledge base that enables him to efficiently guide his clients
through the challenges and uncertainties of legal proceedings. His
