Theodore J. Lesiak, joined the firm in 2013 after managing two law
firms for nearly 20 years in Medina County. Mr. Lesiak graduated from
Ohio University in 1986. After receiving his law degree from the
University of Akron in 1989, Mr. Lesiak accepted a judicial clerkship
for the Honorable Daniel B. Quillin of the Ohio Court of Appeals, Ninth
Appellate District. He is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the
United States District Court – Northern District of Ohio and Western
District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals – Sixth Circuit
and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Lesiak has a wealth of trial and appellate experience. His
accomplishments include obtaining a judgment in excess of $9.3 Million
in the case of Kemp v. Reno which involved real estate and bank fraud.
Mr. Lesiak has also represented numerous municipal entities including
the County of Medina, the Villages of Seville, Lodi, and Chippewa Lake,
and Guilford Township. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial
law, civil litigation, municipal and government law, real estate and
development, personal injury, and domestic relations. Mr. Lesiak has
contributed to the Ohio Lawyer legal publication authoring an article on
appellate procedure.
Mr. Lesiak serves as legal counsel to the Greater Akron Baseball Hall
of Fame and the Roy Hobbs Foundation. He has been honored as the Medina
County United Way Pro Bono Attorney of the Year, and has also served his
community as a member of the City of Medina, Ohio - Charter Review
Commission, the Medina County Free Clinic, the Knights of Columbus, as a
coach of various youth sports and assists the Archbishop Hoban Mock
Trial Team. Mr. Lesiak is a member of the Order of Omega National
Leadership Honorary and the American, Ohio State and Medina County Bar
Associations where he has served as Chairman of various committees.
