Biography

Thomas A. Burg has over 10 years of experience litigating complex commercial and intellectual property matters in federal and state courts throughout the United States and in administrative forums. Mr. Burg has represented multi-national clients in all aspects of pre-litigation negotiations and investigations, discovery, pretrial and trial work. Prior to joining Bialson Bergen & Schwab, Mr. Burg was a litigation associate with the East Palo Alto offices of DLA Piper US LLP and Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich (a predecessor firm). In particular, Mr. Burg was a central member of trial teams in three successful bet-the-company patent trials and acted as lead counsel more than fifteen trademark counterfeiting cases on behalf of a major consumer products manufacturer in the Federal Courts for the Northern and Eastern District of California.
