Biography

I have over 20 years of experience with EEOC and Department of Labor investigations. In addition, I have successfully litigated claims under Title VII, ADA, FMLA, breach of employment contract, ADEA, and whistleblower laws, either as first-chair, second chair or supervising attorney.

Familiar with all employment law statutes, including:

-Wages including overtime pay pursuant to FLSA;

-Wrongful discharge claims;

-Drafting employee handbooks & revising to keep current with changing laws and regulations; -Race and sex harassment under EEOC regulations, Title VII and state law;

-Accommodating employees with disabilities pursuant to the ADA;

-Leave pursuant to the FMLA;

-Employment of reservists in compliance with USERRA;

-Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).

-Drafting and negotiating contracts, such as employment, independent contractor, non-compete, and severance agreements;

-Training on best practices to avoid harassment/discrimination lawsuits
