Thomas C. Soldan brings a wealth of experience to the

his skills at a boutique litigation firm in Warrenton for four years before
transitioning to a growing regional firm. There, he not only managed two
criminal defense offices but also spearheaded their Virginia civil litigation
practice for over eight years, showcasing his versatility and strategic legal
acumen. His seamless transition to partner at Laurel Brigade Law Group attests
to his commitment and proficiency.
As a partner at Marquis Law Group, Tom continues to provide
his unique brand of compassionate, thoughtful, and intelligent advocacy for his
clients. With a focus on doing the right thing for the right reasons, Tom
navigates individuals through tough times in their lives. His practice
encompasses personal injury work, traffic and criminal defense, general civil
litigation, and providing sensible guidance through phone calls or meetings.

Originally from historic Fredericksburg, Virginia, Tom
pursued his undergraduate degree in History and Government-Law at Lafayette
College in Easton, Pennsylvania. During his time there, he not only excelled
academically but also achieved Academic All-Patriot League status on the
baseball diamond. Tom went on to earn his juris doctor from the University of Georgia
School of Law. While in Athens, he participated in the Special Education
Practicum, assisting underprivileged families in securing the educational
benefits afforded to them under the law.
Tom served as the past President of the Fauquier County Bar
Association, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to the legal
community. He earned recognition as a Super Lawyer: Rising Star for consecutive
years from 2014 to 2023, as honored by Super Lawyer Magazine, further
underscoring his excellence in the legal field.
In his previous roles, Tom served as an Associate at Howard
Morrison Ross & Whelan from 2007 to 2011 and later at Price Benowitz, LLP,
from 2011 to 2019.
