Biography

Thomas F. Burris has been with The Law Offices of Peter T. Nicholl since 2004. Tom worked for other personal injury law firms before arriving at our firm. While with The Law Offices of Peter T. Nicholl, he has devoted the vast majority of his time in asbestos and other personal injury litigation.

Tom has extensive trial experience throughout the various circuit courts in Virginia. He has represented clients in asbestos disease cases, car and truck accident cases, wrongful death claims, medical malpractice cases, and faulty construction claims. Tom is particularly experienced in representing asbestos clients suffering from mesothelioma, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and severe asbestosis.

His trial results have enabled Tom to be a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Tom, and his wife and two children live in Hampton Roads, Virginia. He has been a longtime volunteer baseball and soccer coach for many teams in the area of southern Virginia.
