Thomas J. Maimone

Mr. Maimone entered the practice of law in 1978 in a medium-size Manhattan litigation firm. He was named a partner in 1982. He founded a private practice in 1987. In 35 years of practice, Mr. Maimone has taken numerous trials to verdict in the State and Federal Courts of the New York. He has also pursued and defended appeals in the Appellate Divisions, the New York State Court of Appeals and United States Courts of Appeals in the Second and Third Circuits. He has successfully resolved high-value cases in alternative forums such as JAMS and NAM. Mr. Maimone has been engaged by a wide range of clients from individuals to small companies to large multi-national institutions. He has effectively represented and counseled clients in commercial litigation through trial and appeal. Mr. Maimone has extensive experience defending product liability and complex litigation cases for such diverse products as trucks, industrial machines, toys, construction equipment, asbestos-containing products, drugs and medical devices. He has represented individuals, physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. He has prosecuted personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. Mr. Maimone is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He has lectured on topics including trial practice, solo practice and medical records confidentiality. Mr. Maimone has served the community as a director and officer of community and charitable organizations. Thomas J.
