Biography

Thomas J. Weidner has represented individuals and families for over 20 years who have been seriously injured or had a family member die as a result of negligence. Tom has vast knowledge and expertise in injury and wrongful death cases. His practice includes all areas of serious injury and wrongful death litigation including car accidents, truck accidents, animal attacks, medical malpractice, premises liability accidents, dram shop, alcohol related injuries, assaults, scuba related injury and workplace injuries.

Tom has a proven record of taking on tough cases and fighting tenaciously against insurance companies and large corporations to maximize results for his clients. He has extensive experience in the court room, and now devotes his practice primarily to representing seriously injured individuals. Tom has taken complex and challenging cases and applied his aggressive litigation style to obtain substantial victories for his clients. He has built an impressive resume of large verdicts and settlements for his clients and their families.

Tom and his staff worked closely with their clients to minimize the impact of tragic accidents on their lives. He has lectured at legal seminars on personal injury and has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases. Tom is a proud member of the Minnesota Association of Justice, has been selected by his peers as a "Super Lawyer" and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He is a member of the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Bar Associations. He has served on the Minnesota State Bar Association Board of Governors and received its "Award of Professional Excellence" for his representation and work on behalf of the survivors and victims of the 35W bridge collapse.

Originally from South Minneapolis, Tom worked his way through college and law school. He is a graduate of Augsburg College and William Mitchell College of Law and a member of the Augsburg College Athletic Hall of Fame. He is the former president of the St. Croix Chapter of the American Heart Association and the founding Chair of the Stillwater Area Community Foundation. Over the course of his 20 year career, he has prosecuted criminals for many cities which have given him a vast amount of jury trial experience.

Throughout his career, Tom has used all his past experiences to achieve significant results for his clients in all areas of personal injury and wrongful death law.
