Biography

Thomas Kimball was called to the bar in 2011 and practiced at a boutique personal injury firm in the GTA prior to joining Preszler Injury Lawyers in 2015. Thomas has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, his home province, and obtained his law degree from the University of Liverpool.

Thomas is dedicated to his injured clients and is a fearless advocate. He possesses the patience and commitment to fight for accident victims in their time of need.

Thomas has experience conducting trials and hearings before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Small Claims Court, the Social Benefits Tribunal, the Social Security Tribunal of Canada, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board, and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario.

Thomas was recently successful in defending a Threshold motion brought by a Defendant following a jury trial in Dimopoulos v. Mustafa et al, 2016 ONSC 429. In this case, the Plaintiff developed chronic pain syndrome following injuries in a motor vehicle accident. The judge ruled that the Plaintiff’s injuries were serious and permanent, and therefore crossed the threshold entitling the injured Plaintiff to compensation.

Thomas’s practice currently covers a wide range of personal injury claims, including occupier’s liability, motor vehicle accidents, and accident benefits.
