Biography

Attorney Mysliwicz has been practicing law in central and eastern Massachusetts since 1982 and has significant experience trying family law matters in courts in Worcester, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties. In addition to divorce, child custody, and alimony cases, he also has extensive experience handling civil litigation, and plaintiff’s personal injury cases, including automobile and motorcycle accidents, products liability and wrongful death claims.

Thomas grew up in Worcester. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UMASS/Amherst, and Cum Laude from Boston College Law. He worked for many years after graduation as an attorney handling civil litigation and injury claims in Worcester. He later became Senior Trial Attorney at the Law Offices of James Sokolove, litigating and managing the personal injury cases in the Worcester and Boston offices of James Sokolove. More recently, he has operated his own practice in Boston, and managed Mysliwicz & Dickson in Mansfield.

Mr. Mysliwicz’s recent family law Trials include Judgments for his clients that found that a Husband had wrongfully taken or “dissipated” marital assets that the Court ordered him to repay to his Wife, found that a Husband’s obligation to pay alimony could be stopped because of an ex-wife’s cohabitation post-divorce and found that the assets of a Trust could be seized to repay overdue child support.

He is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in the U.S. District Court for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has been awarded the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys “10 Best” Attorneys for Massachusetts.
