Biography

Born and raised in Western New York, attorney Thomas Kotrys graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield Senior High School. Tom went on to complete his undergraduate degree at the State University at New York College at Brockport.

Tom went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law. While at the University at Buffalo, Tom chose to focus his studies on client advocacy and litigation. Tom competed on the School’s Trial Team, where he began to hone his trial skills under the tutelage of some of the area’s top attorneys and judges.

Tom has dedicated his career to helping those injured by the negligence of others. Tom concentrates his practice on all areas of personal injury, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability matters. In addition, Tom also spends a considerable amount of time fighting for workers injured in construction accidents.

Tom is an active member of the Erie County Bar Association and is admitted in all New York State Courts.

Tom currently lives in Buffalo, New York with his wife, children and their two dogs. When he is not busy helping his clients, you can find him at “The Ralph” on Sunday afternoons during football season or outside enjoying Buffalo’s weather.
