Biography

Thomas R. Slezak, Jr. is a Partner in the Las Vegas office of Resnick & Louis, P.C. He has been practicing law in the State of Nevada for over 25 years, primarily representing insurance companies, insureds and self-insureds. In that time, he has tried numerous cases (jury and non-jury) to verdict, served as counsel in hundreds of arbitration hearings and served as appellate counsel in cases before the Supreme Court of the State of Nevada. He was appellate counsel in the reported case of Scott v. Zhou, 120 Nev. 571, 98 P.3d 313 (2004) before the Nevada Supreme Court.Mr. Slezak's practice areas include personal injury defense, insurance bad faith, insurance coverage matters and construction defect litigation. In the area of personal injury, Mr. Slezak has defended hundreds of personal injury cases over past 25+ years. These cases have ranged from minor impact automobile cases with routine soft tissue injuries to catastrophic accidents involving the most complex and severe injuries/conditions.Mr. Slezak was previously the managing partner of the Las Vegas office of the San Francisco-based firm of Leach & English.
