Biography

Tierney’s practice covers a broad spectrum of litigation areas including medical malpractice defense, product liability, toxic tort litigation, legal malpractice and construction defect litigation. She also has experience in first party insurance coverage litigation, representing insurers in connection with bad faith claims. Tierney has represented physicians and other medical professionals before their respective licensing boards in matters of professional liability. She is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Tierney has tried multiple cases to verdict and has extensive experience in using alternative dispute resolution to resolve cases in a cost-effective manner for her clients.
