Biography

Tim Bass is an accomplished trial attorney who focuses his practice on business practices, financial institution litigation, and construction disputes. He has substantial experience in commercial leases, real estate matters, insurance coverage contests, construction defect claims, employment claims, executive liability, business frauds, bonds, investments disputes, and personal injury/product liability lawsuits. Tim routinely serves as lead counsel on jury trials and arbitrations, and has wide-ranging courtroom experience in multiple jurisdictions across the country. He clerked in the Virginia courts after law school, and regularly appears before those judges, but also frequently litigates in Maryland and the District of Columbia on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants. He is also a founding member of the firm's eDiscovery & eRetention Practice, which concentrates on the preservation, management, and retrieval of electronically stored information.
