Biography

Tim Roberts is a trial attorney who began his legal career with Oliver Maner LLP in 1999 and became a partner in 2000. In recent years, Mr. Roberts has concentrated on disputes involving misappropriation of assets and other misconduct by fiduciaries, including business partners, executors, administrators, trustees, and professionals. In addition, Mr. Roberts handles a variety of business and commercial disputes involving contracts and business torts, including trade secret misappropriation. Other practice areas include professional malpractice defense, product liability, personal injury defense, maritime and admiralty litigation, and creditor representation. Mr. Roberts also provides legal advice and counseling as outside general counsel for several local and regional businesses.Mr. Roberts maintains the highest, preeminent AV rating for legal ability and ethics from Martindale Hubbell. He was recognized by Georgia Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in 2006. Mr. Roberts has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for commercial litigation since 2009 and listed as a Georgia Super Lawyer for business litigation since 2014.Mr. Roberts is admitted to practice before all Georgia state courts and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Georgia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates ("ABOTA"), International Association of Defense Counsel (“IADC”), the Savannah Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.
