For more than four decades, Mr. Timothy E. DeClerck has dedicated his legal career to guiding and advising individuals in addressing the legal challenges and issues that arise in their everyday lives. His extensive legal expertise encompasses various areas, including life and estate planning, assisting clients in estate planning, and ensuring that children and beneficiaries receive the inheritances their loved ones intended for them through will and trust litigation. Additionally, Mr. DeClerck's practice covers guardianships, contract law, agricultural and mineral sales and leasing, right of ways and easements, as well as personal injury litigation.
Tim DeClerck was born in Enid, Oklahoma, on November 15, 1956. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism/public relations from the University of Oklahoma in 1980. At OU he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and played in the Pride of Oklahoma marching band. He attended the University of Oklahoma Law School where he was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. He achieved his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1983.
Mr. DeClerck was admitted to the Bar in Oklahoma in 1983 and is authorized to practice before the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma and the United States Supreme Court. He is an esteemed member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is a former member of the Oklahoma Bar Association Board of Governors. He currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Member Outreach Committee of the Oklahoma Bar Association and is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section. Mr. DeClerck is also a proud member of the Oklahoma Association for Justice, formerly known as the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Garfield County Oklahoma Bar Association and is a past president of that organization.
Actively engaged in his community, Mr. DeClerck is a valued member of various organizations, including the Enid Noon AMBUCS club where he has served as a board member. Mr. DeClerck is a long-standing member of the Tri-State Music Festival board and is a member of the Hedges Regional Speech and Hearing board. He is a past member of the Denny Price YMCA board. He is a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and currently contributes as a member of the Parish Finance Committee.
Mr. DeClerck's legal practice serves a diverse range of clients in Northwest Oklahoma, including well-known entities such as Earnheart Oil, Inc. and its affiliated companies, Marsau Enterprises, Inc. General Royalties Corporation, and hundreds of individuals and estates.
