Biography

Timothy Finnegan focuses on the defense of Workers’ Compensation claims, with experience that includes representing clients in all types of workers’ compensation litigation before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board. Tim graduated from Stony Brook University in 2010 with a major in U.S. history. Tim subsequently attended Touro Law Center where he graduated with a Law Degree in 2014. At Touro, Tim was active is student programs and served as Student Bar Association President in his final year of school. Following Law school, Tim cultivated his legal experience by working for a number of law firms specializing in various practices, and in the summer of 2015, he began practicing workers’ compensation defense.

Tim joined our firm in June of 2016 with an enthusiasm to represent the working public in workers’ compensation matters. Currently, Tim is an active participant in the Injured Workers’ Bar Association and is currently serving as one of the IWBA Board of Directors. Outside of the practice of law, Tim enjoys sailing in the summer, playing guitar, and watching sports.
