Biography

Timothy R. Linkous is an experienced litigator who routinely handle complex litigation and catastrophic injury cases. His experience covers a broad range of issues including medical professional negligence against physicians, dentists, chiropractors, hospitals, and other health care providers; personal injury defense; insurance bad faith; insurance coverage disputes; litigation involving contractors; municipal law; governmental tort claims immunity cases; farm litigation; product liability; employment litigation; and deliberate intent lawsuits. He also defends physicians, dentists, nurses, and other health care providers in complaints filed with their licensing Boards. Utilizing the latest trial technology, he has tried to verdict cases involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, and various other issues. Mr. Linkous regularly speaks to physicians and other groups of health care providers regarding medical malpractice and risk management. Additionally, he provides legal consultation and other services for his health care clients to manage and reduce risk in their practices and with respect to their EMRs (electronic medical records). He also represents health care providers and employers with regard to employment contracts. Mr. Linkous and his wife, Kendra, have four children, and they are active in Kingdom EMC. In addition to his volunteer work in our local community, he also volunteers as a Moot Court Judge at the West Virginia University College of Law. He and his family avidly engage in outdoor activities including hiking, hunting, fishing, and farm work.
