Timothy R. O'Brien

Raised in Omaha, Tim O’Brien has spent most of his life in the same community he now serves. He graduated from Creighton Prep in 2005 and went on to Creighton University, where he earned a business administration degree in 2009. That business background helped shape his approach to problem-solving before he moved into the legal field, earning his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2012. While in law school, Tim distinguished himself academically by receiving the CALI Award for Excellence in Insurance Law, an honor that highlights both his work ethic and his understanding of insurance issues that can affect everyday people. Tim maintains active involvement in the profession through membership in the Omaha and Nebraska Bar Associations, the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and the American Association for Justice. He is proud to follow his family’s long-standing tradition in law, and he is committed to helping Hauptman, O’Brien, Wolf & Lathrop continue to grow and better serve clients throughout Nebraska.
