Biography

Timothy Cisar, born on February 4, 1957, in San Antonio, Texas, has been a dedicated member of the Missouri bar since 1983. He began his academic journey at the University of Notre Dame, earning a B.A. in 1979 before obtaining his J.D. from St. Louis University in 1983. His judicial experience includes serving as a Municipal Judge in Lake Ozark from 1985 to 1989 and in Eldon from 2003 to 2013. An active participant in the legal community, Timothy is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the Camden County Bar Association, where he served as Treasurer from 1984-85. He has been a prominent figure within the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, holding positions on the Board of Directors and serving as Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice-President before becoming President in 2004-05. His commitment to professional development is evidenced by his certification in the DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Program from the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration.
