Timothy W. Kappes

A Zionsville resident, Timothy Kappes is an Indiana native and has been practicing law since 1987. As a Resident Attorney for Boone County and the surrounding counties, he focuses his general practice in the areas of llitigation, commercial transactions, estate planning and probate, family law, criminal law, personal injury, real estate, startup / early-stage and small business.

Following law school, Tim Kappes served a number of years as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Indiana and as a senior associate with a large Indiana-based law practice.

He also has 15 years of in-house counsel and executive management experience with both publicly-traded corporations and early-stage / startup companies. This experience has included all aspects of legal affairs, commercial transactions, contracts, software license agreements, negotiation, regulatory compliance, corporate policy and governance, human resources / employment law, vendor relations and investor relations.
