Biography

Todd A. Zuckerbrod is the kind of attorney whose deep-rooted experience in the financial world is almost impossible to replicate. His journey began long before he even finished law school at the Benjamin N. Cardoza School of Law, spending his summers and semesters interning at the SEC and within the legal departments of giants like Merrill Lynch and Prudential Bache. This early immersion in the high-stakes world of finance set the stage for a career defined by complexity and high-level advocacy. After serving as an Enforcement Attorney with the New York Stock Exchange, Todd spent over a decade at Merrill Lynch. During his tenure there, he wasn't just handling routine arbitrations; he was on the front lines of some of the largest financial scandals in history, including the infamous $2.6 billion copper market manipulation case that spanned the U.S., U.K., and Japan. This international exposure gave him a unique perspective on regulatory issues and internal investigations that few lawyers can claim.

In the years that followed, Todd transitioned to the prestigious firm Greenberg Traurig, where he defended major institutions like Morgan Stanley, while also proving his versatility by securing a $5 million jury verdict in a Florida contract dispute. His time as General Counsel for one of the nation’s oldest brokerage firms further solidified his reputation as a trusted advisor to management committees and a veteran of the arbitration room. Today, Todd has pivoted that vast knowledge toward trust and estate litigation. He understands fiduciary duty from a perspective that most estate lawyers simply don't have, having spent decades dealing with complex trust issues at the highest corporate levels. Whether he is acting as a Trustee or navigating a heated estate dispute, Todd uses his firsthand experience with aging grantors and trust companies to protect his clients' interests with surgical precision. He is a 1984 honors graduate of S.U.N.Y. Binghamton who truly understands the intersection of law and finance.
