Biography

Tom Pope III graduated from The University of Georgia in 1990 and received his law degree from Mercer University in 1998. Before beginning his legal career, Tom worked in Washington D.C. with United States Congressman Ed Jenkins, and at the Georgia Lieutenant Governor's Office. Tom began his legal career representing insurance companies. He practiced with two prominent Atlanta insurance defense firms. Tom focuses his trial practice on personal injury, including automobile accidents, slip and fall accidents, and workers' compensation. Tom has dedicated a portion of his practice to helping injured workers who have workers' compensation claims. Each year, he plays a vital role in the Kids Chance fundraising program, which offers financial and educational assistance for children of injured workers.
